Abies Sibirica Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the needles and branches of Abies sibirica and is much desired for its sharp fragrance.

Alcohol Denat. is part of the raw material found in the Witch Hazel USP (the material is 85-86% Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water and 14-15% alcohol) and acts as an astringent, solvent, and helps decrease formula viscosity.

Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil is the oil distilled from the dried flower heads of the roman chamomile and is known for its soothing and calming properties.

Apple Cider Vinegar is produced by the spontaneous fermentation of the juice expressed from the fruit of Malus Domestica and functions as a skin conditioner.

Argania Spinosa Kernel (Argan) Oil is the fixed oil expressed from the kernels of the African Tree, Argania Spinosa.  It absorbs rapidly into the skin and acts as a skin conditioner – used in hair conditioner to add shine and luster to hair.

Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour is powder derived from the fine grinding of rolled oats kernels. Oatmeal helps soothe irritated, dry, or itchy skin.

Behentrimonium Chloride is a quaternary ammonium salt and functions as both an antistatic agent or as a high conditioning surfactant, providing smoothness and shine in our hair conditioners.

Benzoic Acid is an aromatic acid that acts as a preservative or a pH adjuster.

Benzyl Alcohol is an aromatic alcohol that functions as a preservative, solvent, or to decrease viscosity.

Betula Alba Juice is the sap of the birch tree, Betula Alba and can act as an antioxidant, while also possessing anti-microbial, regenerative, and revitalizing properties.

Buttermilk Powder (Butyris Lac) is a product obtained by the dehydration of buttermilk and is used to conditioner hair.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) is a fat obtained from the fruit of Butyrospermum parkii. It is highly moisturizing and rich in Vitamins A & E, making it helpful for soothing dry and irritated skin.  We use only organic, free trade certified Shea Butter.

Cananga Odorata Leaf Oil is commonly known as Ylang Ylang, an aromatherapy oil with an aroma that has been described as fruity, pungent, sweet, and flowery.

Canarium Luzonicum Leaf Extract or Elemi oil, is the extract of the leaves of Canarium Luzonicum. It is known as an excellent essential oil with skin conditioning properties.

Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil is the fixed oil expressed from the seeds of Cannabis Sativa. Rich in Omega 3, 6 & Gamma-linolenic acid, it functions as both an antioxidant and to help condition skin.  We use only Organic Hemp Seed Oil.

Carbon is an amorphous form of elemental carbon which acts as a natural colorant.

Cedrus Atlantica Wood Oil is an essential oil extracted from the chips and saw dust from the wood of Cedrus Atlantica. It benefits the skin and scalp by its sedating ability which relieves itching while its astringent action helps manage dandruff and calm inflamed skin.   We use only Organic Cedarwood Oil.

Cetyl Alcohol is a fatty alcohol derived from vegetable oil (Palm Kernel Oil)/Elaeis Guineensis. A multifunctional ingredient, it can thicken oil in water emulsions, act as an emollient, or result in a more opaque, stabilized foam.

Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract is the extract of the flowerheads of the Matricaria, Chamomilla Recutita and acts as an anti-inflammatory or an astringent.  It is also appreciated for its calming and refreshing properties.

Charcoal Powder is a black powder composed of Charcoal Powder originating from Pine Tree wood. It is a natural, highly porous oil absorbent material that also functions as an abrasive ingredient.

Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Bark Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the bark of the tree, Cinnamomum Camphora. It is highly popular for its high eucalyptol content, strong characteristic aroma, and skin conditioning properties.

Citric Acid is an extract derived from citrus fruits. A multi-functional ingredient, it is a natural pH adjuster or chelating agent and can also act as a mild acidic preservative and gentle exfoliant for skin.

Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil is the psoralen-free volatile oil obtained from the fruit of Citrus Aurantium Bergamia. It has a cooling, sweet and refreshing aroma.

Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil is the volatile oil obtained by the expression from the peel of Citrus Aurantium Dulcis. Native to Florida, it exudes a natural, energizing orange aroma.

Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the peel of the grapefruit, Citrus Grandis. It is a highly desired essential oil known for its refreshing yet tart scent.

Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the peel of Citrus limon and has a bright, zesty aroma.

Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the whole plant, Citrus Nobilis and possesses a sweet citrus aroma.

Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Leaf Oil is the volatile oil derived from the leaves of Citrus Reticulata and is sought after for its refreshing and uplifting scent.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a mild amphoteric surfactant derived from coconut oil which conditions both hair and skin.

Coco-Glucoside is created by the condensation of coconut alcohol with glucose and functions as both a surfactant and cleansing agent.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil is cold pressed and yields a light, non-greasy, and exceptionally emollient oil. Known for its mildness, it can help soothe irritated or sensitive skin as well as help the skin retain moisture.

Colloidal Oatmeal is powder obtained by the fine grinding of oat kernels that can be used to soothe skin. It is an anti-aging, anti-irritant cleansing moisturizer with good skin buffering and antioxidant properties.

Copaifera Reticulata Balsam Oil is harvested from the tree trunk of Copaifera Reticulata and is known for its fresh, woody aroma.

Cymbopogon Flexuosus (Lemongrass) Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the whole plant, Cymbopogon Flexuosus and posseses anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties.

Cymbopogon Martinii Oil is the volatile oil derived from the herb, Cymbopogon Martinii. Known also as palmarosa oil or geranium oil, it has a rose-like sweet scent.

Decyl Glucoside is considered an extremely mild, natural alternative to harsh surfactants like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS).  Occurring naturally in sweet orange and ambrette seed. it is produced by the reaction of cornstarch-derived glucose with the coconut-derived, fatty alcohol Decanol.  Biodegradable, non-toxic, and non-irritating, it rinses quickly.

Elettaria Cardamomum Seed Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the seeds of Elettaria cardamomum and possesses an energizing, balsamic aroma.

Ethyl Macadamiate is the ester of ethyl alcohol and the fatty acids derived from Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil with skin conditioning properties similar to many silicones and silicone derivatives.

Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil is the distilled oil that comes from the dried leaves of eucalyptus and has a stimulating woody, sweet refreshing, and cooling aroma.

Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Leaf Oil is the volatile oil obtained by steam distillation of leaves of Eugenia Caryophyllus and has a warm and slightly spicy aroma.

Glycerin is derived from naturally occurring vegetable sources (Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, and Coconut Oil). A humectant, it pulls water to the outer skin layer thus functioning as both a skin and hair conditioner.

Glyceryl Laurate is produced from glycerin and lauric acid made from vegetable oils. Known for its skin conditioning and emollient, skin softening and soothing properties. it is also used as a surfactant and an emulsifier.

Glyceryl Oleate Made from vegetable oils. it has re-fating properties and is used as an emulsifier and nonionic co-surfactant to condition skin and hair.

Glyceryl Stearate SE is the monoester of glycerin and stearic acid and is of vegetable origin and acts as a stabilizer and thickener in oil and water formulations.

Glyceryl Undecylenate is the ester of glycerin and undecylenic acid and is of vegetable origin and functions as an emollient, co-emulsifier, and skin re-fatting agent.

Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil is the oil obtained from soybeans by extraction or expression. It consists essentially of triglycerides of oleic, linoleic, and saturated acids. Our Soybean Oil has been refined to remove all proteins (allergens).

Gossypium Herbaceum (Cotton) Seed Oil is the fixed oil expressed from the seeds of various species of cotton, Gossypium. It has emollient properties and a high content of the essential fatty acid linoleic acid to help condition skin.

Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride is a quaternary ammonium derivative of Hydroxypropyl Guar. It provides excellent thickening and conditioning properties for hair and skin care products.

Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Bark/Twig Extract is the extract of the bark and twigs of Hamamelis Virginiana. It is a natural skin and scalp freshener and astringent.

Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water is the aqueous solution containing natural volatile oils obtained by the distillation of twigs, bark and leaves of Hamamelis Virginiana. It is characterized by its astringent and toning action, which helps tighten pores and revives radiance in the complexion.

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil is the fixed oil expressed from the seeds of the sunflower, Helianthus Annuus.  It contains Vitamin E, an effective antioxidant, skin conditioner as well as a natural preservative.

Honey Extract (Mel) is a natural humectant with antioxidant and anti-microbial properties that helps skin and hair follicles absorb and retain moisture.

Hydrolyzed Silk is the hydrolysate of silk protein derived by acid, enzyme, or other methods of hydrolysis. It can form a transparent protective film on the surface of the hair to prevent excessive evaporation of hair moisture and reduce hair frizz.

Isopropyl Palmitate is the ester of isopropyl alcohol and palm oil-derived palmitic acid. Non-oily, it possesses highly absorbent skin properties.

Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the whole plant, Jasminum Officinale and is known for its soothing floral scent.

Jojoba Esters is a complex mixture of esters produced by the transesterification/interesterification of Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Jojoba Oil, or a mixture of the two. It delivers emolliency and a smooth feel to hair.

Juniperus Virginiana Leaf Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the leaves, Juniperus virginiana and possesses a smooth, woody cedar aroma.

Kaolin is a native hydrated aluminum silicate with absorptive cleansing and mild exfoliating properties.

Lauryl Lactate is the ester of lauryl alcohol and lactic acid. It yields a rich, velvety emolliency to the formula and helps condition skin.

Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower are the dried flowers obtained from Lavandula Angustifolia. The scent of lavender is used for calming, relaxing and stress relieving.

Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the whole plant, Lavandula Angustifolia with antibacterial, antifungal, and carminative (muscle relaxing) properties.

Lavandula Hybrida Oil is an essential oil obtained from Lavandula Hybrida with a strong and appealing fresh lavender scent.

Lavandula Intermedia Flower Leaf Stem Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the flowers, leaves and stems of Lavandula Intermedia.  It is known to be cooling, healing and a tonic for the skin.

Magnesium Sulfate is an inorganic salt that acts as a bulking and viscosity controlling agent.

Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil is the oil distilled from the leaves of the Melaleuca Alternifolia and is known for its antiseptic, anti-fungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties.  We use only Organic Tea Tree Leaf Oil.

Mentha Arvensis Leaf Oil is an oil derived from the leaves of Mentha Arvensis. Also known as Corn Mint, it has a light minty aroma.

Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil is a volatile oil obtained from the whole plant, Mentha Piperita. Its aroma is known to be both soothing and stimulating. Its anti-inflammatory properties help calm irritated skin.

Mentha Viridis (Spearmint) Leaf Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the leaves of Mentha Viridis. It is used to stimulate the senses as well as astringent to condition skin.

Myristica Fragrans (Nutmeg) Kernel Oil is the oil obtained from the kernel of Myristica Fragrans. It is ideal for use in miscellaneous skin conditioning applications and has a warm, nutty aroma.

Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the flowers of Pelargonium Graveolens. It is also known as Rose Geranium and has a fresh, floral scent.

Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil is the fixed oil expressed from the pulp of Persea Gratissima. It offers skin barrier repairs, hair conditioning, and antioxidant effects.

Pinus Palustris Wood Tar is obtained by the distillation of the wood of Pinus Palustris. It is a natural moisturizer and deodorizer with antiseptic properties. Our Pine Tar Oil is created via a closed kilned process and is always Creosote-free.

Polysorbate 20 is a mixture of laurate esters of sorbitol and sorbitol anhydrites, consisting predominantly of the monoester, condensed with ethylene oxide. It is a non-ionic emulsifier which acts as a dispersing agent and anti-static thickener.

Potassium Sorbate is a potassium salt of sorbic acid (natural fatty acid) that acts as an effective preservative active against molds, yeast and aerophile bacteria. It is also effective in a wide pH range of (2.00-6.50).

Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil is the fixed oil obtained from the ripe seed kernel of Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis. Used for its softening and moisturizing properties.

Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil is the fixed oil expressed from the kernels of varieties of Prunus Armeniaca. Rich in Vitamin A & E and oleic and linoleic fatty acids, it has good moisturizing and water-retaining properties.

Pyrus Malus (Apple) Juice is the liquid expressed from the fresh pulp of the apple, Pyrus Malus. It has antioxidant, skin smoothing and moisturizing properties.

Rosa Damascena Flower Oil is a volatile oil obtained from the flowers of Rosa Damascena. Also known as Rose Absolute, it has a more concentrated scent than the traditional rose oil.

Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil is the essential oil obtained from the flowering tops and leaves of Rosmarinus Officinalis. It provides an antimicrobial and anti-fungal effect and can be used as a preservative.

Sodium Benzoate is the sodium salt of benzoic acid. Long recognized as a globally trusted, nature identical preservative, it is used to safely and effectively inhibit microbial growth up to pH 6.5.

Sodium Bicarbonate is an inorganic salt that is also known as Baking Soda. It has the ability to neutralize acidic pH levels creating a natural deodorizer, while also softening and soothing irritated skin.

Sodium Chloride is an inorganic salt used in the manufacturing of soap, vegetable fat is heated with sodium hydroxide. Once the saponification process is complete, sodium chloride is added to precipitate the soap.

Sodium Cocoate is the sodium salt of Coconut Acid. It is created when Coconut Oil combines with Sodium Chloride to cause a chemical reaction that changes the product over to Sodium Cocoate, a process known as saponification.

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is the sodium salt of the coconut fatty acid ester of isethionic acid. A mild, high foaming anionic surfactant with high purity, it exhibits excellent foam density and stability.

Sodium Gluconate is the sodium salt of gluconic acid with outstanding chelating properties for iron and copper over a wide pH range. A safe and natural alternative to the synthetic chelating agents EDTA and etidronate, it protects products from discoloration and oil rancidity; it can also act as a pH regulator and a humectant. 

Sodium Hydroxide is an inorganic base that acts as an alkalizing agent for pH adjustment.

Sodium Palm Kernelate is the sodium salt of the acids derived from palm kernel oil. It helps cleanse the skin and acts as an emulsifying ingredient.

Sodium Palmate is the sodium salt of the acids derived from Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil. It is created when Palm Oil combines with Sodium Chloride, causing a chemical reaction that changes the product over to Sodium Palmate, a process is known as saponification.

Sorbic Acid is an organic acid and a natural, straight-chained fatty acid. Widely used as a preservative with antimicrobial activity against molds, yeast and aerophile bacteria, it is effective in a wide pH range 2.50-7.00.

Stearyl Alcohol is a vegetable based, highly refined fatty alcohol that acts as a co-emulsifier, skin conditioner, and superfatting agent. It has good thickening and stabilizing properties for all kinds of emulsions.

Sulfur is a naturally occurring element that is an essential component of all living cells. Sulfur, found at the 3% active level, prevents, and eliminates breakouts, blackheads, and excess oil.

Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate is an organic compound that has excellent chelating effectiveness controlling metal catalyzed decomposition.  A multifunctional ingredient, it boosts preservative performance as well as stabilizes the pH value and is effective in a wide pH range without sensitizing skin. 100% biodegradable.

Tocopheryl Acetate is the ester of Tocopherol and acetic acid. Also known as Vitamin E, it has proven antioxidant effects, enhances moisturization and strengthens the skin barrier. 

Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the roots of Vetiveria Zizanoides with a moderately woody aroma.

Water (Aqua) is a substance composed of the chemical elements Hydrogen and Oxygen existing in a liquid state. It is one of the most plentiful and essential of compounds and acts as a skin conditioner, a humectant, and a solvent.

Xanthan Gum is a high molecular weight heteropolysaccharide gum produced by a pure-culture fermentation of a carbohydrate with Xanthomonas campestris.  Its main function is the ability to control the rheology of water-based systems, stabilizing emulsions, suspensions, and foams.
