Grandpa’s Pine Tar Oil is 100% pure kiln-burned Wood Tar, imported from Sweden. It is manufactured in a closed vacuum system at high temperatures that does not generate creosote and is manufactured and tested under closely controlled conditions to ensure quality and uniformity.

The Thylox Acne Treatment Soap contains Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil. Our soybean oil is highly refined, a process that substantially reduces the soy protein responsible for allergic reactions. Individuals with soy allergies should review the full ingredient list and consult their physician before use. All other Grandpa soaps are formulated without soy and soy-derived ingredients.

No, our products contain no sodium lauryl sulfate.

Our products are formulated without gluten- or corn-derived ingredients, with the exception of our Oatmeal Bar Soap, which contains oats. Oats are naturally gluten-free but may come into contact with wheat during harvesting and processing.

Coconut and Palm Oils are the sources of glycerin in our products.

Pine tar is a natural ingredient so there may be variations in color or scent. And since we do not want to add any ingredients that aren’t necessary, we do not use stabilizers.

We make no organic claims. Our focus is on simple formulas built around plant-based and traditional ingredients, and we leave out anything we consider unnecessary.

The shelf life of all our shampoos, conditioners, and body washes is 3 years. The Pine Tar Bar Soap has a shelf life of 5 years, the Thylox Bar Soap 4 years, and all other bar soaps in our product line 3 years.
